The highly acclaimed children’s production FLUFF: A Story of Lost Toys makes its return to the Cremorne Theatre at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC) from 9 to 15 April 2015.

Telling the story of the Gingham family, who are very concerned for all of the lost and discarded toys in the world, the characters travel all around to retrieve them and bring them to their colourful home of odd shaped boxes where they welcome them to the family.

Discover a prehistoric world on the Fraser Coast

Maryborough City Hall has been overrun by amazing animatronic versions of prehistoric creatures of all shapes and sizes! Get your hands dirty to uncover fossils and bones at a dig site and learn the many amazing facts about dinosaurs from how fast they ran to how they digested their food.

The hands-on exhibit features a Muttaburrasaurus, one of the most complete dinosaur skeleton specimens found in Australia, and the carnivorous Tyrannosaurus Rex, King of the Cretaceous Period.

It’s all go on the Sunshine Coast for Easter

The Sunshine Coast is the place to be this Easter! The region will play host to the Kenilworth Cheese, Wine and Food Festival on Easter Saturday – a free event which kicks off with a cheese rolling competition, Cheester Egg Hunt for children aged four to seven years and gourmet cooking demonstrations.

Chocolate rain in Kuranda!

On Easter Saturday it will be raining chocolate eggs in Kuranda when the village hosts its annual Easter in the Park celebration treating everyone to a day of free family fun … and 11,000 Easter eggs raining down from a crane in Centenary Park with egg drops every hour from 11am to 2pm.

Easter in the Park is from 10am to 4pm on April 4 with plenty of free activities including face painters, jumping castles and horse and carriage rides in Centenary Park.

The Kuranda Heritage Markets will have a face painter and an Easter egg hunt for the kids, and the Kuranda Candy Kitchen St will have candy making demonstrations.
