UP UP and away with Wyndham

Bells Beach from on high

Sharing this birds-eye view with you from a helicopter, a magical morning tour.

From Phillip Island to surfside Torquay, finishing a fabulous-fly around in historical rural Ballarat, Wyndham Resorts have a handle on family fun in Victoria.

Out & About with Kids went along for the ride with the top brass from Wyndham Resorts Asia Pacific to hover over, swoop in and visit their three fabulous Vic resorts.

Strapped in by multiple seatbelts, the safety demonstration had everyone feeling secure and ready to go. Learning how to talk to one another on board through the headphones was the next learning curve. Move the mic when you sneeze please. Everyone can hear everything. A real lesson in sharing.

Our handsome pilot Josh is an inspiration. Calm, skilled and confident he operated his chopper with ease and obvious experience, giving us the best views from our take off from Phillip Island.

Scenic Flights

As we gazed over the expansive Ramada Resort Phillip Island, the beauty of this destination was unmistakable.

Penguins, trout fishing, Hemsworth brothers and Grand Prix tracks were left behind as we soar off to view the Great Ocean Road from the best view in town.

Penguins are happy being cold

The ‘picture perfect’ Bells Beach, dotted with surfers vying to catch the wave of the day. The position of Wyndham Torquay is virtually on the beach and perfect for all surf lovers. With a pool and spa when the salt gets too much and great family specials (Kids Eats Free!), whether you stop or stay, it’s the surfside position for your family break.

Up and away we go from the beach to the bush. The full regalia of the Victorian rural countryside on awesome display. Bursting with history and legend Ballarat offers our next stop on this whirlybird tour.

Staff lined up, smiling, with polished name tags to meet Barry Robinson Managing Director and CEO, Wyndham Hotel Group South Pacific. Following in Barry’s wake… he is a wonder, shiny and regal.

Looking down on Ballarat

The Ballarat property is filled with heritage and legend. High ceilings, huge family rooms and lakeside surrounds set the scene. An easy access to all Ballarat and Sovereign Hill has to offer WorldMark Resort Ballarat is a wonderful place to start your adventure. Perfect from the air and wonderful on the ground.

Flying high

If you get the chance to take your family on a helicopter ride. Go for it!

The views, the exhilaration, and the fantastic perspective you can only get from a chopper are worth it. Safe and sound, Phillip Island Helicopter Tours made visiting to Phillip Island, Ballarat and Torquay a breeze. ☺
