That’s right, Trop Jr is moving to December 8, 2013. The festival also has a new home, and will be held in Sydney’s beautiful Centennial Park.
Modelled on the world’s largest short film festival, Tropfest, Trop Jr is a short film making competition and a free, outdoor festival for kids aged 15 years and younger.
At it’s heart, Trop Jr is all about encouraging kids to explore their creativity through film. There is a huge community of young kids with an enormous passion for filmmaking.
Trop Jr has received over 250 entries for the December 2013 festival and, from those, 16 films will be screened at the live Trop Jr event. The winning film will take home $5000 cash, as well as a mix of other great prizes!
Head down to Centennial Park on December 8 from 11am to join in on all the excitement!
