Are you planning a family holiday to the US soon? If so, be sure to include Universal Studios on your list. Always a great day out, soon there will be even more fun, with the ‘Despicable Me: Minion Mayhem’ movie motion-simulator ride and ‘Super Silly Fun Land’ opening in April 2014.
The ride is a family-friendly attraction that continues the story of the blockbuster film and will have visitors involved with the same hilarious and heartwarming characters, but in a whole new way.
The fully immersive experience features super-villain Gru, his adorable girls (Margo, Edith and Agnes) and the Minions, as Gru schemes to create more mischievous Minions from human recruits.
Be transported into Gru’s house and meander through his living room and encounter many familiar things from the film – including the moon-shrinking SR-6 shrink ray – and zig zag along a zany adventure through Gru’s super-villain laboratory.
The thrilling escapade will send guests on a swerving, bouncing and plunging journey through the Minion training mission.
‘Super Silly Fun Land’ is a new kids play zone that features a multitude of fountains, water play areas and splash pools. A nearby dry zone let’s you climb, crawl, jump and slide – while a themed ride will soar and spin guests around for a 360-degree view aboard a fleet of imaginative ride vehicles.
