If the change of season has you fantasising about hot chocolate, crackling fires, building a snowman and taking the kids on a snow escape then get the family along to the Snow Travel Expo in Melbourne or Sydney in May to start planning your winter holiday.
The Snow Travel Expo brings together more than 50 resorts from across Australia and the world along with 25+ travel specialists and dozens of mountain equipment brands all under one roof for an fun and informative day about all things snow!
The kids can try plenty of free and fun activities including snowboarding in the Burton Riglet Park, throw a snowball in the snowplay zone, pet some fluffy Siberian huskies and check out all the action as the pro skiers and boarders strut their skills with a 4m rail jam demonstration.
It’s an interactive and easy way to explore a world of snow travel options whether it is a couple of days at a local resort or a special overseas trip anywhere from the Alps to America.
“It’s a fun day and a chance to really see what these resorts offer for families,” explains Expo director and keen snowboarder Melinda Mak. “It gives you an opportunity to chat to people from the resorts you’ve dreamed about visiting, to get that real insider information and plan a trip that will suit your whole family.”
The Snow Travel Expo is a great way to explore a world of resorts and get inspiration for your own family snow adventure; and it’s all right here in the city for a day.
Visitors to the Snow Travel Expo also have the chance to WIN an amazing snow holiday to Aspen, Colorado (USA) or Whistler (Canada) just by being at the Expo.
Resorts attending the Snow Travel Expo include all the major Australian and New Zealand resorts, USA destinations, all the major Canadian and Japanese resorts as well as representatives from Korea, Switzerland, Austria, France, Italy, India and Chile.
