Club Med Phuket reopened in March 2022 with an “upscale beach club twist” after undergoing a multi-million dollar renovation. Here’s everything you need to know.
The revamped Club Med Phuket, which is located on Kata Beach, includes a redesigned pool with colourful Thai umbrellas, four designated themed zones for kids, adults, activities and leisure, and a sun deck overlooking the Andaman Sea.

Unforgettable family activities at Club Med Phuket
The resort, which is around 45 minutes’ drive from Phuket International Airport, is also introducing the new Tropical Nomad Lifestyle concept. Guests can enjoy a Tropical Pool Party and pick up new skills from a variety of workshops, with a new entertainment set-up for the evenings.
Kid-friendly classes and excursions
Guests can also take part in a range of family-friendly activities, including Thai boxing lessons and cooking classes, and choose from excursions such as exploring the colonial buildings of Phuket Old Town and the Phi Phi and James Bond Islands.
Thai culture and cuisine
There will also be weekly Thailand Days dedicated to celebrating Thai culture, featuring with local performances and activities such as Thai markets around the pool, local arts and crafts artisans, and buffet spreads featuring popular Thai dishes. Guests can also dine on authentic cuisine from a street food cart in the evenings.
Immersive evening entertainment
Shortly after the reopening, the resort launched an Amazing Family! Corner, offering a series of localised activities, while an an all-new Magic Tribe show offers an immersive visual performance that takes the audience on an emotional journey with the use of electronic screens, sound, and light.
