Surprise your senses and challenge your mind with over 60 hands-on and multimedia exhibits featuring perceptual test and illusions. This family-friendly exhibition reveals how our brains form our perception of the world around us using information from our senses, and sometimes all is not as it seems!

Love to ask ‘why’? Then wrap your mind around lots of intriguing questions and inspire your inner scientist at Q Lab! Look at the world differently as you watch Questacon’s science communicators perform live scientific demonstrations and discover your own answers.
Even the youngest visitors can become budding scientists in the Mini Q exhibition. Children can experiment with water, explore the sensory garden and play pretend in four child-sized businesses, all in a space specifically designed for 0–6 year olds.
No visit to Questacon is complete without watching, or even starring in, a Spectacular Science Show. These entertaining shows change daily and feature explosive demonstrations and audience participation that will have you on the edge of your seat.
