What’s in it for MUMS?
Families can experience science in extraordinary ways at Questacon – The National Science and Technology Centre. With over 200 interactive exhibits to explore across eight themed galleries, there’s something for visitors of all ages to enjoy!
Bend both your mind and muscle in [email protected] as you battle a robot at air hockey, keep your balance as you move through the Rototron and free fall down a six metre slide.
Inspire your inner scientist with Q Lab’s ever-changing array of intriguing experiments, explosive demonstrations and interesting displays.
The youngest scientists will enjoy Mini Q as they play, discover and learn in a gallery specifically for 0-6 year olds.
And no visit to Questacon is complete without watching—or even starring in— a Spectacular Science Show.
Did you know …?
Questacon began in an unused space at a local public school, opening in 1980 with only 15 exhibits and staffed entirely by volunteers.
